Dr. Itshak Lapidot

Dr. Itshak  Lapidot joined the Afeka Center for Language Processing (ACLP) in 2012 as a senior researcher. Apart from his research at the ACLP, Dr. Lapidot also holds a teaching position with the Electrical Engineering Department at the Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering. Previously, Dr. Lapidot served as a researcher at the Laboratoire Informatique d'Avignon (LIA), University of Avignon, France. Between 2003-2011 Dr. Lapidot was a lecturer and researcher at Sami Shamoon College of Engineering (SCE), Be'er Sheva, Israel and was later was appointed Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the SCE Ashdod Campus. Between 1999-2002, Dr. Lapidot was a lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering at the Negev Academic College of Engineering (NACE), Be'er-Sheva, Israel.  Dr. Lapidot holds B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University, Be'er-Sheva, Israel.  His Postdoctoral Research was conducted at the IDIAP Research Institute, Martigny, Switzerland.
